Tramar Lacel Daillard
Tramar Lacel, better known under his
stage name Flo Rida (American rapper singer and songwriter), is a Carol City,
Florida-based artist who is a composer, singer, and songwriter. The single that
he released in 2008 "Low" was a top-ranked single for 10 weeks in the
United States and broke the record for digital download sales at the moment of
its release. The first studio album by Flo Rida the album, 2008's Mail on
Sunday, reached fourth in the US. R.O.O.T.S. succeeded the album in 2008. The
following albums, 2010's Only One Flo (Part 1) and 2012's Wild Ones, also
charted on the US Billboard 200 chart. Flo Rida's worldwide sales of over 80
million records make him one of the most successful artists in the music
industry. His catalogue includes popular songs "Right Round",
"Club Can't Handle Me", "Good Feeling", "Wild
Ones", "Whistle", "I Cry", "G.D.F.R. ", as
well as "My Home". Mail on Sunday, Flo Rida's debut album came out in
March of 2008. The first single was "Low" with T-Pain. It was
included in the soundtrack to the film Step Up 2: The Streets. "Low"
hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Elevator" was performed by
Timbaland, "In the Ayer" with will.i.am and "Roll"
featuring Sean Kingston, charted on the Hot 100, as well as other charts. Mail
was awash with guests on Sunday including T-Pain. Timbaland is the producer on
the single "Elevator" and is included on the track. Rick Ross, Trey
Songz and Trey also appeared. Lil Wayne performed the song "American
Superstar" while Sean Kingston sang "Roll", co-written by
Spitfiya, a Compton rapper. Birdman, Brisco, as along with Yung Jock are among
the other guests. "Money Right" is a duet with Brisco and Rick Ross,
was scheduled to be the fourth single, but it was cancelled because of the
release of Flo Rida's second studio album, R.O.O.T.S. T-Pain's second
collaboration "I Bet" and his collaboration with Trina ("Bout
It") was not able to appear on the final track list. However the two
tracks were recorded.
