Alison Doody

Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is a famous Irish actress and model. She made her feature film debut as the Bond girl with the film A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she starred in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody portrayed Nazi sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan donavan was part of A Prayer for the Dying in 1987, Charlotte was in Taffin (in 1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody was invited by a photographer, and started to take on the role of model. Doody then began to build her career as a commercial model. Doody avoided nude and glamour work, a rule that was carried into her acting. Doody was offered a tiny role in the film Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill following the fact that her name was picked by the director who cast her. Doody played alongside Sean Connery in the film in the role of Indy's father. Doody played the role in the British miniseries Selling Hitler with Jonathan Pryce. She was chosen to succeed Cybill Shepherd as spokesperson for L'Oreal she was later chosen to play opposite Charlie Sheen in 1994's Major League II as Flannery the agent's girlfriend. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. She also appeared on the show in 2014 as We Still Kill the Old Way. In November of 2018, she received the Almeria Tierra de Cine award as well as the honor of a star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
