Beyonce Giselle Knowles was conceived in Houston, Texas on September 4, 1981. Her mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson designs their glittering costumes & her father, Mathew Knowles manages Destiny's Child. Solange her sister (4 years apart) released her debut album. She dances along with her large sister at DC-3 performances. Beyonce is of Louisiana Creole & African descent. Beyonce is also 1/32 Irish and her maternal line is a distant Breton-, Spanish-, Indonesian- and Chinese roots. According to reports, she has said that to get over her shyness, she created her stage persona, dubbed "Sasha".
