Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush is an American boy group
that is specialized in the field of pop. The group was formed in 2009. The
group is made up of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow and also Logan Henderson
and Carlos PenaVega. They initially signed with Nick Records in 2009 before
switching to Columbia Records. They starred in Nickelodeon's TV show, Big Time
Rush. From November 28, 2009 until July 25 in 2013, the show aired. The pilot
episode featured "Big Time Rush" the group's first single for
promotion. The band has released three albums, including BTR in 2010 and
Elevate in 2011, and 24/Seven in the year 2013. In 2014, the band stopped
touring for an indefinite period that ran until 2021. They returned to live
performances in the studio and came out with "Call It Like It's What It's
Like". Nickelodeon has signed Big Time Rush to a record deal in 2009 in
conjunction with the television series, Big Time Rush. Nickelodeon joined
forces with Columbia/Epic Label Group in order to produce the series and to
provide original music. The first single of the series, "Big Time
Rush" was released on the 29th of November, 2009. Officially announced by
Nickelodeon in November 2009, the show was first broadcast for the time in the
American market. It then debuted internationally. It premiered in a one hour
special preview of the show and it is currently the show's main theme. There
were promotional singles made available by the show, including "City is
Ours" (with Big Time Rush) and "Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush
also performed a Play song called "Famous". The song was first
released on iTunes on June 29th in 2010. After the series' premiere another
track, "Halfway There", was released on iTunes on April 27 the 27th
of April, 2010. It soon became the band's first single to be charted on the
Billboard Hot 100, peaking at 93 thanks to the digital sales. To launch the
release of their debut album, Big Time Rush released "Till I Forget About
You" on September 21, 2010. The album, BTR came out on the 11th of October
10th, the 11th of October. It debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. It
sold 67,000 copies within its first week.
